When you create an account on Myth Garden, we collect:

Your email address (used for authentication)
Display name and avatar (if you choose to set them)
Content you create: posts (text, images, audio), comments, upvotes, and archetype suggestions
Feedback you submit through the app

If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile information from Google. We do not access your Google contacts, calendar, or other Google services.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to:

Provide and maintain your account
Display your posts and profile to other users
Enable community features like upvoting, commenting, and flagging
Moderate content and enforce community guidelines
Improve the app based on feedback

Data Storage

Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, and Cloud Storage). Files you upload (images, audio) are stored in Firebase Cloud Storage. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Your content (posts, comments) is visible to other authenticated users of Myth Garden. We may share data only when required by law.

Your Rights

You can:

Update your display name and avatar at any time from Settings
Delete individual posts you have created
Delete your entire account from Settings, which removes your profile and associated data

Cookies

Myth Garden uses essential cookies and local storage for authentication and theme preferences. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.

Children

Myth Garden is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
